Ku SiKia’s services are open to:

African, African Caribbean, Dual Heritage and other Minority Ethnic Young People aged 13 to 19.

Young people who are having difficulties and feel unable to cope or move on. For example, young people who have suffered trauma in their lives and are unable to engage in, education, employment or training.

Objectives

Provision of school and community based counselling.

Providing group counselling, family interventions.

Providing trained and competent staff for our users.

We aim to make specific efforts to satisfy the needs of young people who are excluded or are at risk of being excluded from mainstream education.  This demands that we continue to find new ways of reaching those young people, and making sure that our practices, attitudes and values do not directly or indirectly discriminate against or offend young people.
